There have been a number of new members joining here so I thought I'd take a second to welcome you and let you know what these forums are about.
WINN is a network of people interested in skiing and for a network to function, they have to have a way to communicate with each other. Since we started, this has been done almost entirely by email. Unfortunately, these emails have been mostly between the WINN board members so while the entire state is reasonably well represented, it hasn't been close to our original vision of lots of skiers networking together.
Forums have been around for a long time now and seem to have largely replaced the earlier usenet news groups for group communication. They are pretty easy to use and seem to be preferred by the younger generation that has been chased away from email by the legions of spammers out there.
As of today, I have added a few more categories for talk. Jump in and let's get started.
