What do you know about them? I've never heard of them before and could't find much with google. I was just looking for an older 'racing' style classic ski and these looked to fit the bill. Were they considered very good skis?

Any info would be appreciated - thanks.

Craig

re: SNAY

Landsem skis were the premiere cross country ski in the world until the Landsem factory was sold to K2. Based in Rindal, Norway, Landsem used wood and wooden materials for cross country skis long after other manufacturers switched to plastics. They still hold the record for Olympic medals won --all of the champion skiers used Landsem skis through the 70s. In the skiing museum in Oslo there are pictures of everyone from Norway's many gold medal skiers to Norway's King Olaf using Landsem skis. It's very sad that they had to sell the factory.
The name still holds some weight in Western and Eastern Europe, and some skis are still made with the Lansem brand attached to them--but the quality isn't the same.
