Bucking Logs
We had a good effort last night with 22 folks enjoying a little more in the way of upper body work. Please note the previous post which was produced by the New England Nordic Ski Association (NENSA). It gives a lot of info. Please note the new photo's I linked in as well. They are in the gallery section. In particular place a critical eye towards "sitting back". Also note the pole placement and how "early" it enters the snow. I did not post any truly painful technical photo's or any butt shots but have them on disk.
One may feel a little more tension in the quad this week as the amount of antagonistic work was somewhat higher. One last note: I received no slivers from the log last night. I know you care!
Next week expect a kinder lactate interval (not easier) but easier on the legs and harder on your technique. See everyone at 5:30pm. Forecast is for 40's. Bring dry duds and remember that it always feels 20 degrees warmer while bounding.
