Antagonistic Anatomy
Our hillbounding group of 23 athletes completed our 1st night under the lights under pleasant conditions. Many were surprised by a very agonizing set of reps working the antagonistic muscles. Even my pal Chris [the most antagonistic guy I know] needed a potty break after those.
As always a few points to consider for next week.
- "Hand" posture needs to be 'pole specific'.
- Almost all techniques require vigorous expulsion of air from your lungs to enable worthwhile compression.
- Slide the foot for proper lower leg angle
- Think angles in the lower body and a "hip glide".
- Make eye contact with the ground, not straight down.
We will head to the big hill next week for a few reps so try and be on time before dark. We do a very specific UPPER body workout.......with the magic ropes! Tell your friends.
