My Life
You must all know the pain I feel. Last week Thursday we traveled north to Ironwood and skied in totally great snow. Fast and firm with good edging, temps in the 20s. I did that....did that for you....so that you could live vicariously through me.......what a guy!
We had a good night Wed. The 30 minutes of aerobic work did everyone proud and I heard several folks comment on how toasty their arms felt! We are inching towards the 50% mark.....with luck our snow will hold out.
Snow: The 7 to 4 of snow we received revived the trails. The snow was very low in humidity and it fell over mostly ice and is having a hard time binding to the base, hence a lot of slipping, especially on uphills. That said it is not too bad for just normal skiing. I have heard several very good reports from Pot Park. I like their trails as they flow nice and are fun to cruise. It is probably worth the drive for a long ski. North of highway 8 most trails are wunderbar. Even the South has skiing but they had no base to start with. The weather forecast looks very confused, it will be day to day. Check with www.skinnyski.com for updates.
Time to go ski. Get that long one in....see you Wed.
STC: Warm spells in winter often bring this critter out in the open. On some days you may see hundreds of them. What are they?
STC Answer: The Exel Black Feather was the 1st all carbon pole.
