By the numbers
There were some interesting findings and things going on this week. Here is whats what.
30- The temp at my house this morning
13- The number of hours after hillbounding until I skied 20k on the FRT.
2- The number of hot co-co's that Chris S. drank while I was rollerskiing
21- The number of bounders last night.
27- The number of reps we did.
36- How many hours it takes for the Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness to peak. (DOMS)
A couple notes: Most folks looked better and quite good.....until you got tired. Hillbounding forces not just the technical and the physical but the mental side of having proper technique while tired. Remember:THIS IS A VERY HARD WORKOUT. The effort can be as hard as a race. Too often everyone gets caught up in doing every rep, it is not desirable if your technique suffers. Sit one out, watch and learn from others and do the next rep with more intensity and better technique. I cannot make you sit out but we can point out slipping technique. Meanwhile enjoy the photos, thanks to Steve V. for the Camera.
This Sat. there will be a group rollerskiing the FRT. I probably cannot make it but there will be someone to ski with at eight o'clock.
Good effort this week. These are tough but they won't kill you, maybe. See you Tue at 5:30pm.
