Wed. March 17th, Saint Patty's Day. While most of you stared despondantly out of your work/home window I boldly went on a mission to seek out and explore strange new ski trails..........I played hooky and took the 40 minute drive to Pot Park. Not so say the skeptics, there is no snow, the skis are put away. Well let me tell you, four of us skied the entire trail network (and more) with good skis and freshly groomed trails. It was fast, fun and probably the best skiing locally since late Feb. As good as it was there is two/three times that amount of snow north. After 2.5 hours I was reminded of this: There is nothing like a good ski to get that all over tired feeling. Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.........

I am still formulating plans for a SNOW training group to get rolling in April...stay tuned.

The Dick Lytie SPRING CLASSIC Half Marathon is Sat. March 27th at 10:00 am. This is the 23rd annual SC and it starts at the Shorewood club. There is also a 3 mile race as well.

Last weeks STC: went unanswered (correctly) Deimos is one of Mars two moons.......Deimos means panic. Romulus and Remus were the sons of the Roman god Mars.
