SNAY
It snayed, that's right snow with a sinus drip. Here is the deal. The camp is skiable but play it safe and use rock skis or stay off the back Maples. It was soft but really pretty good considering....
Iola is good. Fred A. says Lakewood is good and getting better...
All points north got a lot of snow. Most trails are open and skiing.
It is important to get out and ski long this weekend and at least one long 3+ hour ski at a easy pace but with no stops. Drink on the downhills and no stops to get chatty. Long means long and slow but steady and SUSTAINED. Think of technique when you get tired and hydrate before and after.
Wed. nite rates a 5.5 and was tough but not too bad. If someone skis Neshota please let me know. We are expecting 2-4 more inches and if that happens it should get pretty good. I like ice but don't need to ski any more lake for a while.
Go ski, ski long and feel the glow of the best workout in the land.
STC: Everyone remembers the Landsem Honeycomb skis from the 70' and 80's, ok maybe not everyone........They had a honeycomb core material. What was the honeycomb made of?
