The Hodag Nordic Challenge scheduled for this Sunday (1/7/07) has been cancelled due to poor snow conditions.

Hi All:  We are sorry to inform you we have made the decision to cancel the Hodag Nordic Challenge skate race scheduled for this Sunday at the Northwood Ski Trails.  We had two days of temperatures in the high 30's and it did not get below freezing last night.  We were hoping to do a test groom at 6 AM today which was not possible.  The forecast calls for below freezing temps Friday through the weekend.  Our course will be one big sheet if ice.  Without the chance for the groomers to see what they can do the prudent decision is to cancel.  Our goal now is to preserve the ski trail base and hope for more snow on our wonderful state meet course.  Thanks for your interest and support of our event - it's greatly appreciated
