Words of Wisdom: How to stay well during ski season;

Wash your hands every time you are in a bathroom, with soap.
Change to dry clothes after workout to avoid feeling chilly; for “2 a days” at a camp, have a second set to change into.
Eat something nutritious within 1 hour of your workout.
Stay hydrated all day and rehydrate after the workout.
Stay on top of you studies, this is a great stress reducer which helps you feel good.
Sleep as much as your schedule allows.
Eat as much “good” food as you want 3 times a day (assumes you are practicing).
Continue strength workouts during the on snow season (timing is important).
Ski or run 5 or 6 times a week with a balance of active recovery days (I will watch out for this) and intensity.
If you can, shower after each workout.
Skiing well is about feeling good and the above will give you an edge in that!
