Thursday practice
Like I said, you gotta be opportunistic in Transition time
so…
At this point I am about 60% sure we will practice on snow
at the Brown County golf course on Thursday right after school (340 pm). Freezing
drizzle tonight with 1-2 inches Wednesday night and Thursday day should make a
great ski. If you are a little late, follow the tracks as we will end up
doing a similar ski to what we did on Saturday.
Equipment for Thursday is classic boots and classic rock
skis. See Mr. Krueger if you need equipment. If there is obviously
not good coverage then we will ski at Ashwaubomay. I will send a
confirming email early Thursday am (like 6 am).
Also, a note, we are out of roller skis to loan, therefore,
if you have loaned ski’s you need to show up and practice at those RS
practices or drop the skis off by me or Mr.Krueger so we can loan them to
skiers that show up. They don’t do anybody any good in your car
trunk or in the garage! We will Roller ski a couple more times prior to a
solid snow base (I hope I am wrong) I betcha.
You fall in love with skiing by skiing on snow, however, you
become a better strong skier primarily during dryland.
